|Rudy was born in Fullerton, CA
and spent his early childhood
in Jerome, AZ. He moved to Los
Angeles and attended Garfield
High School, where he met his
future wife, Vangie George.
He found a home among the George
family by marrying their daughter,
Vangie, in 1951. They spent a happy
year in Monterey, CA as Rudy attended
the Army Language School studying
Russian. After being discharged in 1953,
Rudy went back to work at Dixie Cup
Company. He was an award winning
salesman in the paper products industry
for 50 years with his key account being
He is survived by his wife, Vangie; his
daughters, Christine, Nancy, Stephanie;
their husbands, Louis, Tim, Kevin; his
grandchildren, Phillipe, Ryan, Nicole,
Lauren, Joshua and Andrew.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather,
uncle, mentor and friend who will be
missed by all who knew him.
Rudy was known for many quips, but
the most dear to his wife was, “My love
for you will never fail, as long as duckie
has a tail.”
Services will be held March 9th at Our
Lady of Grace Church at 11 am in El Cajon.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
a donation to Sharp Hospice Care.
