Longtime Coronado resident Nathaniel Clayton Williams, son of James and Mary Williams, passed away early Monday morning, Oct 14th. He had bravely battled chronic kidney disease, enduring dialysis and two kidney transplants, over the past 12 years.
Nathaniel was 57 years old and was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey in 1956. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a passionate track and basketball coach for his children and a talented musician, photographer, and artist. He leaves behind his wife, Dr. Maria Grant, and his five children, Christen, Moriah, Nathaniel, David, and Ruthie. He also leaves behind his sisters Linda, LaSandra, Jackie, and Malverse and his brother, Chuck. They miss him greatly.
